We are currently looking for an Application Engineer to join our Pharmaceutical / Industrial sales team, covering the China region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working with sales team to launch products into China
  •  Mastering product technical knowledge through coordination with HQ
  •  Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive offerings.
  •  Identifying and involving in product localization needs.
  •  Providing on-site and other support for training, installation, method development, trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Acting as a technical link between customers and HQ.
  •  Getting product approvals from Chinese authorities.
  •  Fostering a positive image of Ahura Scientific among customers.
  •  Identifying unmet needs, seeking new markets and applications for Ahura Scientific Inc�s core technologies.
  •  Working with HQ and Distributors to provide after sales services

Requirements:

  • B.S., in Chemistry or discipline related to Spectroscopy or Pharmaceutical science field preferred
  •  4 plus years of direct experience in analytical solutions (e.g., NIR, FTIR, Raman)
  •  Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both Chinese and English.
  •  Ability to grasp and explain technical concepts related to the product and its application.
  •  Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and internet based software,
  •  Experience in a �start-up� environment would be helpful.

Other:

  •  Significant amount of travel both within and outside China.
